Bitmain Technologies faces legal action from Old Const, its former data center hosting provider, following accusations of wrongful contract termination and attempted equipment seizure. The dispute centers on a November 2024 Hosting Services Agreement that Bitmain allegedly terminated by fabricating breaches.

Old Const's August 22 filing in Texas claims Bitmain's U.S. subsidiary engaged in bad faith by threatening to confiscate mining hardware outside jurisdictional boundaries. The plaintiff seeks court enforcement of the agreement's Texas-specific dispute resolution clause.
